Team Strengths:
Experience, returning lettermen, and size
Question Marks:
Inexperience in the post and playing in a tough conference
Overview:
North Cedar finished 13-9 and still returns one of the most underrated players
in Iowa. That player, Alex Dittmer, put up nearly twenty points per game
as a junior and will likely average more this winter. This 6-foot-3
standout knows how to play basketball the right way and can score. Outside
of Dittmer, the team only returns two other players who saw extensive action at
the varsity level. Matt Clarke and Aaron Spickermann are both young but
combined to average around ten points per game. Outside of this trio,
there are a lot of question marks, especially in the post. How they answer
those question marks will determine the success of the team.
