Good list, I'd put New Hampton in there somewhere. They return the top rusher in 2A (Braden McShane) and a big, physical OL. D3 has five solid teams (New Hampton, Osage, Waukon, Crestwood, NFV, Oelwein). I think that's the order they finish.

I am curious, is New Hampton not as good as you thought or is Denver that good? They kind of had their way with New Hampton and right now Denver is not on anyone's radar (although I would argue they belong in the discussions).

Denver beat New Hampton 42-14

I never said New Hampton would beat Denver (although I was shocked it was that lop-sided), I said I thought New Hampton may win their 2A district and may be in the Top 10. There might be 3-4 teams in 1A-3 that could win 2A-3. (Denver, MFL, Dike, AP, Sumner-Fred)

If you disagree that's fine, but 1A-3 is loaded and they would beat many of the 2A teams in eastern Iowa.
