Too early thoughts

What’s everyone predicting for their respectful districts this year? The forums seem kinda quiet compared to recent years, just trying to start the summer with some good ole football talk!!

District 2 will be interesting to watch the lower teams have more players returning and "top" teams lose a lot of talent. Plus the state took the top 3 from last years Districts 2 & 3 Then added a team that drops back down and a improving team that bring all but 4 players back. I understand that both of those teams were 0-9 last year but should improve at least a little.

Well another in class 8 man football and it looks like the early favorites are the don bos... oh look what we have here. A new team moving down from class A who is looking to take over 8 man as the new powerhouse. The Gladbrook Reinbeck Rebels. Will they overthrow the kings of 8 man, or will they fall victim like so many teams before them have. Only time will tell if they have what it takes. Sorry for the dramatic way of saying this lol. Just trying to spark conversation

G-R is returning a total of 18 points scored and 1 of their top 12 players in tackles from last year. I've heard their numbers drop tremendously following the 2018 senior class. They may not even be able to field a JV team along with varsity this year.
