Overview:
North Polk was only able to finish the 2005-2006 season two games above .500.
But with the new season starting soon, this team has big hopes with the players
that they are returning. Leading the way for the Comets is bigman Adam
Carr. This 6-foot-5 senior was named second team All Conference last year
while averaging 12.4 points and 7.0 rebounds per game. Outside of Carr,
the team does have other big players with Aaron Anderson at 6-foot-4 and James
Franklin at 6-foot-5. These two have not had much experience at the
varsity level. As for guards, Jon Crasten and Eric Hall are back and both
averaged over five points per game. Both will need to be better this year
to take some of the pressure away from Carr inside. If they can, this
North Polk squad could be tough to beat.
