Team Strengths:
Team play and hatred of losing
Question Marks:
Junior class needs to step up early
Overview:
The Blazers have continued to stay with a balanced attack offensively and that
helped them win fifteen games last year. This version of the team will
take a much different look as four starters are graduated and only one player
has significant varsity experience. Adam Manternach led the team in
scoring at 12.6 points per contest and that offensive fire power will be needed
this year. Dyersville-Beckman will have some size with Manternach at
6-foot-3, Josh Singsank at 6-foot-4, and Sean Stelken at 6-foot-7. But the
biggest question mark now is who will step forward? The Blazers can become
a deep team this season if they are able to have players in the junior class
show they belong.
