Team Strengths:
Talented forwards
Question Marks:
Guard play
Overview:
There are some years where teams are loaded with guards and have no bigmen.
And there are other years where teams are loaded with bigmen and missing guards.
It appears Ogden may have the latter of those two problems. With Kyle
Swanson and Zach Twedt both returning from last year, they may have one of the
strongest inside combinations across Iowa. Swanson is very talented for
his size and has already signed his Letter of Intent with Minnesota State.
Twedt is very good at working the high-low with Swanson and has proven he can
score. The problem is that with Jake Oeth and two other guards graduating,
who is going to be able to keep away the double and triple teams inside?
That question must be answered early as some of the younger players must step up
their game to the varsity level. With the bigmen that this team has, if
they can find a consistent threat from the outside, watch out because they may
have what it takes to make a run at the Heart of Iowa Conference title.
