Overview:

Mid-Prairie made an impressive run last year as they advanced to the first round
of the State tournament. Travis Kern has since graduated and this All
Stater will be missed both as a leader and as a scorer. But the Golden
Hawks do bring back two starters, including standout Josh Berry. This
senior is one of the top athletes in Iowa and had a huge year on the football
field. If he can step up his game without Kern, Mid-Prairie may surprise
some people in the Eastern Iowa Hawkeye Conference.
