We really struggled on Friday against North Mahaska, yes, but I know we will get that W on Friday against a very poor Lynnville-Sully team. They were good in the past, but they are the type of team we need to face right now. With Lynnville, Belle Plaine, and Colfax-Mingo left, I see us still having the shot at the 4th seed in the playoffs. Then we can make some noise knocking off a #1 seed first round!
BIG change in our offense for this week. Our QB has been HORRIBLE (35 for 135 passing with 6 INT's) so coach has made a big change and now we will be that force we have been waiting for all year!
Me too! Good call Parker I was thinking the same thing! I think GMG now really has some potential to make a serious run in the playoffs this year!!
The previous QB has some talent, so I can't imagine he'll be sitting on the bench....so is he now going to switch over to be a WR or is he going to play only defense now?
I think you put him at WR with Bryce and you have a combination (both about 6'3") on the outside that no one can stop.
I promise you this: L-S is NOT ready for the Wolverine Machine! They have what? One weak win over Iowa Valley? I am calling it. GMG 28 L-S 7!!
L-S has lost to five playoff teams. I'll take them to cover the spread and whomp GMG tonight.

This is the second year he has been a head coach there. He has been an assistant there on and off for a long time, and was a head coach at North Tama for a short stint. This is his first time of being head coach there after trying for the position 3 different times.
Time to re-focus Wolverines! We have a very winnable game this week against a Belle Plaine team that will be down after their loss to BGM!

Interesting how everyone has gone quiet, and scared of the Wolverines! We have had a great week of practice, I have seen them running hard and throwing the ball all over the place from the gas station every night! Belle Plaine snuck by us last year and barely won, time for revenge!
I see little chance for payback. Unlike last year, GMG has not been competitive. Must be some sort of anti-football virus spreading in Marshall County. The four high schools are a combined 1-27 with poor prospects of finding a W the final two weeks.

One last chance for the Wolverines to pick up a win this year, which could potentially knock Colfax-Mingo out of the playoffs (if Lynnville-Sully wins).
