    Valley and Waukee are stronger teams than Bett and Prairie-- and I would say SC East in for Hempstead. Otherwise pretty solid 4A list. I agree Hempstead has talent, but I think they are a year away from being top 5-10.

    Not one team with a winning record in with IC West -- what a joke! Sioux City East' s substate is a joke as well. I really wish the state had people on that committee that actually watched high school basketball games and studied the teams and their schedules a little bit.

    4A State Matchups

    Sad that the CIML gets 3 teams to state and the MVC only 2, when the MVC was by far the best conference in the state. Kennedy, Linn-Mar and CF were all better than Ames.
