2023 Season

Let’s start this thread since the forum seems kinda dead.

Don’t know much outside of my corner of Iowa but 1a ball up here is coming to a good start. My Unity Knights picked up a good win against our conference(ex?) rival West Sioux last week 5-1, but tonight we lost to last years state runner up, Western Christian, 0-4. Honestly feel like my knights could’ve won 4-0 ourselves but a few mental lapses on offense and defense proved too much. I’m sure we can turn it around when it really matters in districts.

1a is a little small this year with the new classes so don’t be surprised if my Knights pull something off in May and you see them in Des Moines in July.

Sioux center is also lucky they’re finally moving up a class. WC seemed to have their number these past few years, and I wouldn’t be surprised if my knights take beat them next week when we play them as revenge for them knocking us out in the districts last year.

Petsmart!

Has gone woke.

My boy KC has a great breakdown of this situation 🤣

We give California much deserved hell, but I highly recommend San Diego for those of you that want a trip out west

Everything is expensive af, but you go out there expecting that anyway.

Stayed at the Grand Hyatt for a conference, then relocated to Marriott in the Gaslamp District.

Food was incredible, and I did some touristy exploration shit too- spent two of the days at La Jolla.

Anyway, recommend 10/10… certainly not a liberal hellhole like gator would enjoy.

You know you won when Dems say things like…

“Despite these setbacks, we must save the American economy from Republicans’ irresponsible and radical plans to impose a damaging default. The failure to do so would have catastrophic impacts on every American, every family, and the global economy,” Stenny Hoyer (D-MD) reportedly said.

“We cannot allow the American people to shoulder the dire consequences of Republicans’ inability and unwillingness to govern. That’s why I urge my colleagues to join me in supporting this compromise legislation and to bring an end to this needless economic turmoil,” he added.
