How did the high school football season go overall?
“The season went pretty well, we had a solid team that made it to the playoffs for the 3rd year in a row, so it’s always fun to be a part of that.”
What are your plans now with sports and workouts?
“My plans for sports and workouts now are dual sports track and tennis… along with getting into the weight room whenever I can.”
How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“I believe our team will be pretty good next year. Our skill guys will have more experience now, and up front there will be some holes to fill with young guys, but I’m very confident they will step up into those spots and do well. We’ll also have another year under our belts with a new coach which will help a lot.”
What team do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“It’s hard to say what team exactly will be the toughest. Our new district has a lot of good teams with a lot of good returning players as well.”
Who is the toughest individual player your team will face off against?
“Once again it’s hard to say who will be the toughest. Benton has some good returning players, along with Williamsburg who has Derek, and Solon who has Brett.”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“I would love to play football in college.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“There have been a variety of schools from D3 D2 and NAIA. For example, Northwestern, Simpson, Minnesota Mankato, Central, Upper Iowa, and Minnesota State Moorhead.”
What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“See above.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“I’ve gone to central and northwestern already and for upcoming ones I have a Minnesota Mankato and a northwestern one again. Then possibly upper Iowa and Minnesota State Moorhead.”
Do you have plans for any trips soon?
“See above.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“My favorite college growing up has always been Iowa, being named Kinnick I don’t really have a choice to like another team.”
