Thjs years 3a could very easily have 4 undefeated teams in the semi's.I'm to lazy to check but that's has to be a little unusually I would think.

2008 was the last time it happened in 3A. 2008 was also the year in which the playoffs were expanded to 32 teams and so 2008 is the only year in which there have been 4 teams sitting at 12-0, (in class 3a anyway, I am far too lazy to check the other classes). Clear Lake and Bishop Heelan were on one side of the bracket, Pella and Decorah were on the other. Heelan defeated Decorah in the finals.

that was a good final four that year. very good final 8 this year. probably best there has been in years.
