Overview:
Essex played some great basketball all of last year and that helped the team
finish at 22-2. Although they didn't get as far as they hoped in the
postseason, that doesn't take away from all that they accomplished. This
season will be a much different looking team. With four starters graduated
and a small team, there are a lot of question marks that will need to be
answered. Matt Nicholas is the lone returning starter and he finished the
year scoring over seven points per game. Now that he is older, Nicholas
must step forward and prove he can be a team leader.
