Playoff Picks Contest: First Round

I will keep track of correct picks of everyone that’s willing to participate. You will need to submit your weekly postseason picks before 5 minutes until kickoff of that round. If you submit with under the 5 minutes until kickoff, your picks for that round will be void.

Please make your picks stand out with either all caps, bold, or just put your winning picks in a reply. Scores for each game are not needed and will not count in any fashion, but you can for fun if you’d like.

The most correct picks recorded after the state championship claims the ‘pride title’ until next season. You get one point for every correct pick.

Most points you can get in each round:
First round: 8
Quarters: 4
Semis: 2
Final: 1
*In the event of a tie going into the title game, a tiebreaker of total points scored by both teams combined in the title game will be used. Best of luck to all that want to participate!

There’s going to be a fair number of lopsided games this round. It’s a pretty big gap from the several top-tier teams and the rest of 1a. Maybe the ihsaa will go back to a 32 team first round for even more first round blowouts.
