Overview:
Martensdale St. Marys does not have much experienced depth heading into the new
season but the players they have returning are talented. Leading the team
in scoring last season was Corey Sherwood. This senior led a balanced
attack as he put up twelve points per game and is a talented athlete. Also
returning is two other starters, Jeremy Lynch and Austin Navin. Both were
more role players last year but look for that to change this year with two
graduated starters. The Blue Devils must be able to answer the questions
concerning their depth but if they do, watch out because they may have what it
takes to make a run at the conference title.
