Whichever team made them the most money. Did West Lyon cover the spread?

Congrats to both teams:

I think everyone knew how good Regina was coming in and winning their fifth straight state title.

But I was very impressed with West Lyon and their offense putting up around 400 yards, when Regina knew they were going to run it right at them. I thought they showed just how good their program really is and that next to Regina they were the next best in Class 1A.

I think we saw the brackets play out great this year with arguably the best 4 teams getting to the Dome with the seeds working out perfectly. That's a happy accident since the iahsaa doesn't try to do that.

The WL-SE and the Regina-WL games were fun to watch.

Both games played out much closer than the final scores would indicate.

WL matched Regina in offensive production compiling 395 total yards. They had too many drive killing self inflicted penalties and failing to convert the pass at the end of the 1st half to give them a real chance. Giving up a 96 yard kickoff return out of the half really dug a hole that was hard to come back from but they still managed to hang in there and score two more TDs and get the score back to 10 points.
