Looks like rain in NE Iowa which should make some games interesting. Big ones tonight between Dowling and Ankeny, SE Polk and Ft. Dodge, and Senior vs. CR Prairie. Hempstead of Dubuque vs. Cedar Falls could be close for a while, and then Cedar Falls superior talent takes over. Dowling and SE Polk should prevail. Prairie, I believe, is stronger than they've shown thus far, but Senior's young team is also getting stronger with each passing week, so it could be fairly close, but Prairie has the advantage in size. .

Post your scores and comments.

Yup. Apparently SE Polk didn't feel like letting Fort Dodge finally get a big win over a DSM suburb.

Maybe next year they'll change their minds.....

SE Polk makes a 46 yard FG as time expires to win the game, 24-21. Only time they led all game.

More BAU....Too bad. Maybe next year.

Yep. Ugly win for CF, and very sloppy. Sounds like a lot of CF players were sick this week, including K/KR/PR/LB Bryce Albaugh. He definitely didn't seem right, missing his first two FG's of the year, when he'd been very stout all year.

Albaugh. No Weimer. Jacobson out. Mickey playing with a club on his arm. Grosse not 100%. Loecher seemed a bit out of sorts tonight. It started with the fumbled handoff on the reverse on the first play of the game. The threat of a big loss just hung in the place all night.

If CF can't keep the defense off the field for extended periods of time, that's going to catch up. Bailey's tackle causing the fumble at the five saved CF. The goal line stand for four downs as tired as they had to be....that was rising to the occasion when needed. I would have to say that this year's CF team is more battle-tested than last year's.....and fortuitous.

And the score of the night--Des Moines Roosevelt 93, Sioux City West 0.
I’m sorry but...how do you beat a team 93-0? (Yeah l know, score 93 points and shut them out) But seriously, with a continuous clock and emptying your bench, why do you keep scoring, did SCW just step aside or lay down?
