In the last few weeks my text has been flooded with demos desperately trying to raise money. Various election committees are pleading for $5 even. I think they are worried about money to finish the election. All the requests come with a statement that if you reply STOP they will remove from the list. I have used the STOP numerous times. That committee stops but another committee for the same candidate or same group of candidates picks you up and continues. I keep wondering if it’s real or there are groups out there stealing money. If it real the Dems are running out of money.

Just wonder if any of you are experiencing the same thing.

I get them all the time but atleast mine are from Republicans.

So at some point you’ve donated to the democrats?

A responsible media would be asking where the money is going… she’s outraised Trump by far, especially when you account for what they inherited from the Biden campaign. If the ROR of her $$’s spent as president aren’t any better than her campaign, we are in for a world of hurt if she’s elected…

I get them from both sides. Not sure why. I can count on one hand the times I have voted for a Dem candidate - and I would have fingers left over.

On that subject, here's an interesting watch. People are openly mocking Kamala and Joe more and more. It has been years since people dared to mock the Dems.

Responding STOP or anything for that matter just tells them someone is on the other end reading their message. I just tap 'Report Junk' and it deletes the message and blocks that IP address.

They need a “I voted fvck off” button.

I just got home from voting. While I was happy to vote for Trump I was much happier to vote against a couple of local Marxist dems that need to be sent to the political pasture. I hope their sorry asses lose big.

I just voted and did the same. Lady at the polling station said over 15% of my heavily Republican county has already early voted. Hopefully that carries over to the rest of the state

Help me understand why early voting is a good thing?
I thought that at first but now take advantage of it myself (never know if something may happen Election Day). I would add that 1) it shouldn’t start more than a couple of weeks before ED and 2) there still needs to be a robust voter verification process (which thankfully a well run state like Iowa has). It’s the mail-in voting system which requires the most scrutiny…and of course voter registration verification.

From where I’m sittin nothing good can come from it. If all the law abiding citizens vote early the democrats then know how many fake ballots they’re gonna need.

I don't think early voting impacts the Dems ability to cheat. At least not here in Georgia.

When you vote in Georgia - it's not all electronic the way you would think. You do have to present your ID, where they check you in and give you a smart card. You plug that in when you get to the voting machine, where you vote using the touch screen.

What is interesting is this machine prints a paper ballot, which you feed into the actual counting device and turn in your smart card.

So they know who has voted the moment they vote, and the system reflects it. If someone wants to cheat, all they have to do is look at who hasn't voted after the polls close and print ballots with straight Dem ticket votes. Register them as voting in the system and feed those paper ballots into the system to be counted. Done.

That's likely what happened with the Fulton county swing that everyone focuses on. They were able to print ballots for people who had not voted by 7pm in a different location and had to smuggle them into the facility to be counted. They would have to implement a process to lock the voter rolls when the polls close - if you aren't checked in you aren't voting. If they did this, it would require them to lock the rolls at each polling location since the law says you can vote if you are in line when the polls close at 7pm.

To your original question - early voting encourages better voter turnout. That's about it.

You can't outsmart thieves and liars, they'll always come up with a new way. When it comes to treasonous activities, there's only one solution that has a chance to stem the tide...
