From reading it appears that receivers Boutte and Nabers already quitting on Killy. Deleting all references to LSU on their social media accounts.

It wouldn’t surprise me if he’s a quitter. He certainly quit on the poor freshman he murdered at ND. He didn’t even attend the funeral.
Killy is the laughingstock of the coaching community (college and pro) yet @Bill_D tries to shame his fellow posters for laughing at him. The word “clueless” comes to mind when reading bill’s posts but that’s for someone else to point out as I - like always - am staying out of it.
A wise move. No sense getting involved when @Bill_D won’t listen to reason. For some reason a few of us still try, however.

That was when @Bill_D credited Gerry DiNardo for Sabes’ success lol. Guess we can thank Mike Shula for the reign of Sabes in titletown.
He also said LSU would be better off with Les Miles than they were with saban, but I’m not gonna mention any of that. This is between y’all so I’m staying out of it.

I don't know how you always manage to stay out of stuff like this...but you do.
I never credited DINardo for anything Saban did except say that DINardo recruited a lot of the players on the 2001 SECC team and the 2003 NC team. DiNardo discussed the possibility of redshirting the 1998 and 1999 classes with the AD and others. He said he really needed these players to maintain winning but if he redshirted them LSU would win the SEC in 2001. He did with disastrous results. He was bitter about being fired because of his 1999 record.
When Saban held his first spring training in 2002 he said he and Jimbo were stunned at the quality offensive players and they had to rethink their ideas because the players were way better than they thought. LSU did win the SECC in 2001 as Dinardo projected. Saban was a better coach than DINardo IMO.
Saban might have won everything in 2002 also if Mauck, the QB had not been injured in the FL game. That, IMO, was the worst mistake Saban ever made. He left Mauck in the game with a 3TD lead and only a couple of minutes left in the FL game and told him to score “because he wanted to hang 30 points on FL. Mauck run a keeper on the goal line, a DL fell on a foot and he was lost for the season. At the time LSU was 6-1 and the favorite to win the SEC.

He will respond with Killy’s colleagues coming to his defense (paid off by Killy based on some lead pipe solid info I got recently).
