1st Round Scores

DNH and Panorama are tied at 7 with 730 left to go until half. Panorama has used a few big plays and ball control so far in the first half. Watching the livestream, the Panthers play tough. DNH has their work cut out for them.

DNH and Panorama tied at 7 at half. Wolverines had 1st and 10 on the 11 after a fumble recovery and come away with zero points. Panorama playing time of possession game and using a physical defense. Panorama playing with a lot of confidence.

38 yard field goal before half. 10-7 Regina. Mepo dropped 2 interceptions on Regina’s FG drive. Regina dropped a sure TD on their second possession. Steady rain falling making it hard.

West Lyon leads 35-14 at half. They’re having their way with Osage. Wildcats are just too physical and have too many athletes.

DNH driving down field to try and tie. Got a holding call on a first down sweep and their RB got ankle bent around looked like.

DNH and Panorama ties at 14 heading to 4th. Panthers are inside the 30.

West Lyon hammering Osage 42-14 in the 3rd

23-19 Regina. Mepo has fallen for a shift and been offsides on defense 3-4 times. 2 have given Regina first down on 4th down.

West Lyon extends lead 55-14 and is able to get starters plenty of rest while their next opponent, whomever it is, is in a battle

Panorama driving down field in DNH territory having converted two 4th downs already. 1 minute left

Panorama turns it over on downs as time expires. DNH survives 21-14. Watching this game, Panorama was absolutely a top 10 team. Their defense was tremendous and they have some very good athletes.

Panorama has only one loss which was to Van Meter 20-0. A tough loss for them as they played their guts out.

As for DNH, they better regroup quick, because they have a force in West Lyon to deal with next week. West Lyon is big, physical, and athletic. Wildcats look like a state title team and have all the ingredients of one.

Heck of a game. Very evenly matched, mistakes were the difference. I seem to remember someone saying that’s how the game would probably go. :D

I said it would be a gritty game and that it may come down to a field goal. Was pretty close on that one.

Great game Dawg, both teams played hard, beautiful facility and fans. Yarmouth was a good call, thank you
Thanks. Regina as well, class all around. Good luck vs West Branch, hopefully better weather. Hopefully Regina school is ready for the Bullettes Volleyball team on Tuesday.

It was a great back and forth game. Great coaching by the Regals to draw those critical offsides. The weather slowed Regina a bit, but they battled through it to set up a good one next week. Really fun game to watch despite the cold, steady rain.

Was able to watch three of the last four games of Mediapolis including SK & Regina games. They were a force on the LOS and gave Regina all they could handle. Their defense had to play with a heavy coming at you mindset but got caught up in a strategy that not a lot of teams could use to their advantage like Regina with the shifting to draw multiple encroachments. Props to Mediapolis on a phenomenal season.
