What have you been doing as of late with off-season workouts?
“Going to the gym every day and working on footwork.”

“I improved my technique and became a better football player overall.”

“I do not have any more planned trips.”

What have you been doing as of late with off-season workouts?
“I’ve been lifting/plyometrics and football drills.”

What do you feel you have improved on most since last football season?
“Route running and just being more aggressive overall.”

How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“I feel we will be better this year because our offense is going to be way more dominant than other teams and they won’t be able to stop us and we also have a solid defense.”

What team do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“The toughest competition would be Monticello.”

Who is the toughest individual player your team will face off against?
“Preston Ries will be very hard to play and defend.”

Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“Yes I would love to play sports in college such as football and track.”

“Grand view, Wartburg, Western Illinois, Minnesota state Moorhead and Wayne state.”

What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“Wartburg.”

“Grandview and Wartburg.”

What have you been doing as of late with off-season workouts?
“I workout before school Tuesdays and Thursdays for Valley and Mondays and Wednesdays after school. Wednesdays we have been doing before school speed sessions as well. On my own I do 7v7 and have practice for Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, along with a blocking training session every week. I also lift at my own gym as well.”

What do you feel you have improved on most since last football season?
“Definitely my physicality and my weight. My catching has also gotten significantly better.”

How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“I feel Valley will win a state title this year and I’m confident in that. We have all of the pieces needed to win a championship.”

What team do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“Southeast Polk will be our toughest challenge as a team this year. We face them week one.”

Who is the toughest individual player your team will face off against?
“The toughest individual player we will face in my opinion is Connor Moberly. Iowa State commit.”

Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“My goal is to play football at a high level after high school.”

“I have been in contact with a few colleges such as South Dakota and St. Thomas.”

“Probably St. Thomas.”

“I have not made any college trips yet.”

“I’m planning to go to Iowa State, Uni, South Dakota, SW Missouri State, and St. Thomas.”

“My favorite college has been Iowa State because both of my parents attended there.”

“I have been lifting a few times a week and throwing a few times as well.”

“I feel like I have improved on how to read coverages and get the ball out faster.”

“We are switching from 8 to 11 man so it will be a challenge but we've been working hard this offseason and are ready to compete.”

“We will have lots of tough competition this year and will have to work hard against every opponent.”

“I'm not sure.”

“The most important thing has been getting stronger overall to help improve my deep ball, then working on my pre snap read with progression.”

What do you feel you have improved on most since last football season?
“I’d have to say throwing on the run, it’s an underrated skill for a QB so throughout the season I’d get better at that.”

How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“I’ve got high hopes for us, we have some really committed guys who are competitive and willing to put the work in, also coming off a bad season [so] we’re more motivated than ever.”

What team do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“Either CR Kennedy, Linn-Mar, Iowa City High and PV. Kennedy, Linn Mar and Iowa City have a lot of returning guys who can make plays. PV is our rival and we have them week one which is exciting.”

Who is the toughest individual player your team will face off against?
“There’s a lot, Tate Lyon, Calvin White, and Keaton Roskop and Drew Larson. All being all-state guys who are talented.”
