I'll have to go with Michael Girres from GTRA 911 rushing yards (third in the state) and plays in the toughest district. They also played Northwood this year, and they play Coon-Rapids this week.

Any game film on this one? A legit 4.5 in 8-man would be crazy. From what I have seen I would have to go with GTRA QB Michael Girres. Big, physical runner, who can go through you or around you. Not many backs are as gifted as this kid. Looks to be 6'0 200 lbs and I would guess runs around a 4.5-4.6 40 yard dash. Pretty exciting player
A sophomore doing a 405 lb squat is solid and he is to be commended. It takes a ton of work and dedication to move that kind of weight. I don't think Bosco has any sophomore players squatting that much. Freshman Noah Pitman may before the end of his sophomore year if he spends a bit more time leg training.its just him squatting.
Great looking athlete. He'll take them a long ways ! It's always fun to watch a kid like that play the game. He is obviously a hard worker with a ton of passion. Good luck to him and his team this season. He's gotta be one of the top 8 man kids no doubt.http://www.hudl.com/athlete/4276719/michael-girres
I found his hudl videos
this is what a lineman lifts he isn't even close that is dalton smith from don bosco[/QUOTE
Girres video was his sophomore year so you can't really say he isn't close in numbers, This kid from Bosco can put up some good numbers in the weight room as well. Good for him, shows he has a lot of dedication.this is what a lineman lifts he isn't even close that is dalton smith from don bosco
I do agree here, his squat form in the video posted above was really weak form. Hopefully, he gets that fixed. Could be why he has back injuriesSmith is very strong but he is an injury waiting to happen. Hope he does not injure his back or knees. Really needs to work on lifting technique. That said he is quite strong. Hope he gets to next level.
