Waterloo West's Lincoln Conrey committed to UNI over the weekend.
Saw his parents and sister after the game Saturday night but hadn't heard the news yet otherwise I would have congratulatedt hem in person
This is my "Holy crap I'm old" moment. I remember working at the day care center that both he and his sister went too as kids and watching both of them. I could tell from them at that age (Lincoln was 4th and 5th grade and his sister was 3/4 years old). that they were raised by an extremely great family. As I got to know them a little better over the years being involved with UNI I knew Lincoln was going to do great things.
There isn't a better UNI family around, and to have him part of it even further is great for that family and the university!
