At 6’7” 330 lbs and #1 OT national recruit, (he yanked him right out from coach Ferentz) can’t blame him, he’ll never get a shot at a ring in IA.

I find that hard to believe considering we have two serviceable ones, both underclassmen, and signed two highly touted ones in the class. They tried to get them a QB in Drake May, but he wasn’t even in the portal. Gave him 5 million reasons why he should come to Bama
He may have had a biscuit or 2 with a little syrup poured over it.I wondered when he might come up. That's a corn fed MFer!!!

Just message board fodder.
He ain’t wrong."Those rumors weren't really reality," he told ESPN. He added: "Pitt's coach ended up putting that out there. I don't know what that was about. You have to enter the transfer portal to talk to these schools and hear these offers. For me, I think college football is going to turn into a mess. They're going to have to do something. There was nothing to me or my family directly offered from any of these other schools. Nothing was said or offered to the Mayes."

He is. Much better. He ain’t wrong.
I’m not convinced he’s better than who we have anyway.
Agree to disagree- Milroe had very limited opportunity, specifically with a first team OL and surrounding cast, and Ty Simpson had none.He is. Much better.
Maye is a great QB. If he was surrounded by the the 4 and 5 star talent that bama has, he'd put up ridiculous numbers.Agree to disagree- Milroe had very limited opportunity, specifically with a first team OL and surrounding cast, and Ty Simpson had none.
The two we got, comparing on 247 and not Rivals because it was easier to access, one was ranked 74 overall out of high school and the other 140. Maye was 56.
So if you want to make an argument that he’s more experienced than our current crop, I can be on board with that but watching him chop up ACC teams doesn’t really scream how great he is.
Well that obviously settles it."Those rumors weren't really reality," he told ESPN. He added: "Pitt's coach ended up putting that out there. I don't know what that was about. See, there’s no need for clandestine code words etc. when you’re dealing with we Hawkeye folks. Nick shows the young man what the Tide has to offer, jumps on a plane to meet with his family and voila’It certainly appears that our staff didn't offer him or his family anything. If you parse his words, no one, not even people unassociated with our staff, offered him or his family anything.
That leaves two options. A) he's lying or 2) someone offered someone who isn't him or his family something.

I was referring to the monster OL recruit from Iowa, he should be a good fit for the Tide, hopefully he’ll do well.He was actually committed to Alabama coming out of HS. He flipped to UNC a few months before NSD.
Holstein is a great QB prospect. He played behind Walker at Lafayette for several years and than transferred to another HS as a junior. He was really good as a QB at the other HS and I believe is the player you mentioned as 74. LSU recruited him but had no chance because Walker was already at LSU.Agree to disagree- Milroe had very limited opportunity, specifically with a first team OL and surrounding cast, and Ty Simpson had none.

I don’t believe that he wasn’t offered a NIL deal by at least some of the people recruiting him in some fashion or other. Some of those people recruiting him for a fact are offering people NILdeals. If they wanted him why not offer a NIL arrangement. I am not saying the Pitt coach is right, but that somebody offered a NIL deal. I guess he could have told them not to offer him anything up front before discussions started, that was not what he was interested in. But that’s about the only way he would have not got a NIL offer. Or nobody wanted him which seems preposterous."Those rumors weren't really reality," he told ESPN. He added: "Pitt's coach ended up putting that out there. I don't know what that was about. The only issue I’d have is with true tampering. If another school contacts a kid and says if you enter the portal and with us we will give you X. If he’s in there then it’s a normal recruitment scenario. New normal, that is, which is FUBAR.I don’t believe that he wasn’t offered a NIL deal by at least some of the people recruiting him in some fashion or other.
