South Winn vs. Regina

Pretty sure the kid Regina put on him the other day was definitely an "above average" DB, especially by 1A standards. I would say Rommes having 4 rec for 125 yds and a TD is "hurting" a team. He also would have had a big play on SW's first play of the game if the ball is thrown accurately on a slant where he had one guy to beat.

Well, many of them were out of the game in the second half, limiting their chances to pile up big stats against weaker teams.
Congrats for the dumbest post of the year...
South Winn has been up by 35+ in a lot of games this year at halftime. They didn't pass near as much to Rommes as in years before. They are a run based offense. They don't play starters in the second half when games are decided at halftime.

Rommes became one of the best WR's in the state because of his strength, ability to high point the ball, hands, and ability to use his body to shield defenders.

None of his QB's have ever been impressive and he routinely gets jump balls and then breaks tackles for the long TD's.

The only reason I don't think he gets a FBS or UNI offer to play WR is because he isn't very fast for his size. Otherwise I think he has a tremendous skill set.

I wasn't talking about South Winn. I was making a reference to the IC Regina starters very often playing just a half of football and how that limited their chance to put up some really eye popping stats if they had wanted to.

You replied: "Well, many of them were out of the game in the second half, limiting their chances to pile up big stats against weaker teams. "

This definitely implies that Rommes stats were built up by playing the second half against weaker opponents...

Rommes did his work in one half like most other stars on great teams.

No buddy, it definitely implies that. I think you miss worded if anything.

"many of them" that doesn't sound like a statement directed at an individual player. Maybe I am not getting the gist of everything either.
