What have you been doing as of late with your workouts?
“I lift two or three times a week and then I shoot afterwards. I love doing it. I want to keep that up for my senior year.”

Do you have a favorite sport?
“I like basketball. Football is great and I like it. It is really fun but basketball is on the top.”

What have you improved on the most since this off-season?
“I am trying to improve on my long-range shot. I want to improve my one-dribble pull up. If I can score in the paint and step back, I will be even tougher to guard.”

How do you believe your football team will be next season?
“My class makes up the majority of the team and we are a hard-working group. We’ll be really solid.”

What is the toughest game on your schedule for 2017?
“Hinton or Western. Western is losing a lot of seniors but they have been to state two-years in a row. Hinton has a tough group and that will be their mentality every year.”

What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I have entertained the thought of playing basketball in college but I haven’t made up my mind. I don’t want to go to a smaller college like some of the area ones. I want to go Division I and I’ll walk-on. SDSU or something like that would be great. I’d rather get a jersey and be on the practice squad than at a smaller school.”

What are some of the smaller colleges interested?
“Dordt College started texting me, Northwestern, and Iowa Lakes. I am just getting emails from a lot of people.”

Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“I don’t. My brother went to SDSU but I don’t really have a favorite.”
