How do you feel your team will do this winter on the basketball court?
“I think we should do pretty good. We got a lot of hype but we can live up to it. We have to keep working and getting better. We are looking to have a good season.

Who will be your toughest competition in the Hawkeye Ten?
“There is always Harlan, Atlantic, and Lewis Central. Those top three teams will be pretty good.”

What do you know about your next opponent in St. Albert?
“They are always a good team that is scrappy. Last year we went down there and they were able to win. They return a lot of guys so it will be a good game against them this year.”

What are the keys to a victory during the season?
“Definitely we have to go through Matt Dentlinger. He is coming off of a good year and we have to get him the ball. We have to be able to work through him.”

What are your goals for this winter?
“Like everyone else, we want to return to state and make it past the first round. We want to play better as a team and make a state run.”

What colleges have been recruiting you?
“Mainly it has just been Briar Cliff that has been interested.”

Have you made any college trips yet?
“I’ll be taking a trip to Briar Cliff once the season opens up more. Hopefully I can get more colleges interested in me at that time.”
