What have you been doing as of late with your workouts?
“I was out for track and we had a pretty good team this year. I’ve bene pushing hard I the weight room and working on my speed and strength. This summer, I have quite a few camps to get to.”
What have you improved on the most since football wrapped up?
“I definitely have improved strength and speed. That has really been my focus. I have great coaches that have helped me with that.”
How do you believe your team will be next season?
“I’m really excited. We lost a lot of seniors but we have a lot of underclassmen coming up that can fill their shoes.”
What is the toughest game on your schedule for 2017?
“I know Bellevue will be tough again and East Buchanan should be pretty good. Another game we have is against Aplington-Parkersburg.”
How do you feel about your first opponent of the football season in Aplington-Parkersburg?
“I’m not sure. We haven’t played them for quite a while. We’ll get some scouting on them and get a good look on them.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“There have been a few Division I coaches coming to my school and talking to my coach. I went to a junior day at Moorhead State in Minnesota and that went pretty well.”
What other schools are interested?
“We got Drake, Iowa, Northern Illinois, Western Illinois, and Winona State in Minnesota.”
What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“Probably either Moorhead or Drake.”

“Not yet.”
