What have you been doing as of late with off-season workouts?
“I have been working in the weight room with my strength coach and friends. I’ve also been playing baseball, so I have been working out there. I go to the field at least twice a week with one of my receivers and throw the ball.”

What do you feel you have improved on most since last football season?
“Confidence and reading coverages. I have been studying up on all different types of defenses and have been learning that I can't go broke from taking the profit.”

What are you trying to improve on before the football season begins?
“Relationships with the underclassmen.”

Who is your opponent in the season opener and how do you feel about them overall?
“We have Norwalk for our season opener. It's been a pretty solid the last three years facing them all at their place now they get to come into our town with our crowd and we can beat them. We can beat any team in the state. They have bigger numbers than us, but that doesn't matter because I know and trust my team. I know they will do their job.”

Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“Yes, I would love to play college football and that is my dream. I want to go anywhere that accepts me as a human and has what I need for studying.”

What colleges have been recruiting you?
“Lots of D3 schools like Central, Dordt, Morningside, Simpson, St. Thomas University, and Graceland. It's really been an honor talking to all these colleges and learning what they have to offer.”

Have you made any college trips yet?
“I have made a couple. One was to Simpson, one was to Central, and one to Graceland.”

Do you have plans for more trips soon?
“Yes, I do. I’m going to St. Thomas on August 2nd.”

What camps did you do this summer and how did they go?
“I’ve done Simpson, Northwest, and I am going to go to Dordt and South Dakota.”

Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“Iowa State and TCU.”
