What have you been doing as of late with off-season workouts?
“I've been getting together with the other O-linemen on the team and have been going through our calls/schemes, along with technique/footwork drills. I've also been keeping busy in the weight room.”
What do you feel you have improved on most since last football season?
“I've definitely become more athletic and fluid. I have better body control and have gotten much stronger. My explosiveness has also improved.”
What are you trying to improve on before the football season begins?
“I always want to become as big and strong as possible while remaining quick and athletic. I hope to become more technically sound, as well.”
Who is your opponent in the season opener and how do you feel about them overall?
“Our season opener is Waukee. They are a successful program and will certainly be a good challenge to start the season. We always respect our opponents, and Waukee is definitely not a team to underestimate.”
What colleges have offered you?
“I currently hold scholarship offers from South Dakota, Ball State, Western Illinois, and UNI.”

“I have been in contact with South Dakota, Western Illinois, Ball State, UNI, Kansas State, Northern Illinois, Akron, Ohio, Dartmouth, UPenn, Columbia, Princeton, Indiana State, and the University of San Diego.”
What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“South Dakota has been doing a terrific job of staying in touch and have been building a great relationship. My Head Coach, Tom Wilson, was a Graduate Assistant at Ball State. The staff at Ball State has also been in frequent contact, and Coach Wilson speaks high praise of their program.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“I have been to South Dakota, Ball State, UNI, Princeton, UPenn, Northern Illinois, and Illinois State.”
Do you have plans for more trips soon?
“As of right now, I am letting the coaches make visits to Dowling for the spring eval period, and just focusing on crafting myself into the most recruit-able young man I can be.”
What camps are you planning to do this summer?
“I plan on attending Kansas State, Ball State, Northern Illinois, South Dakota, UNI, UPenn, Princeton, Dartmouth, and of course, Dowling's team camp.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“Growing up, I just enjoyed college football in general. My dad played for the Iowa State Cyclones, so I watched a lot of their games. I've got a brother at Stanford, so I watch their games, too. I also have a brother at UPenn, so I try to catch their games as well.”
