What have you been doing as of late with off-season workouts and sports?
“During this off-season, I have been playing with an AAU team based out of Aplington Parkersburg called Nitro. I've also been in a few tournaments with my school team.”

What are you trying to improve on the most this off-season?
“During this off-season, I've really been working on my speed and strength. I also am able to go stronger to the hole and finish in the lane.”

How did the spring portion of the AAU season go?
“I feel did pretty well this off-season. We didn't win as many tournaments as we would have liked but we made a lot of improvements in our game and that's what it's all about. I am looking forward to next season as I think our team will be pretty good. We have a lot of young players returning and everyone is only getting better. We have a lot of unselfish players who like to move the ball around and get good looks.”

How do you believe your high school basketball team will be next season?
“One of the big things this off-season is working on our defensive positioning. That's going to take our team a long way in the upcoming season.”

What is the toughest game on your schedule for 2019-2020?
“I would say the toughest game on our schedule for the upcoming season would be Dike New-Hartford.”

Who is the toughest individual player you will play against this winter?
I would say the toughest player we will have to play against is Bradley Andrews of Charles City. He is a big body in the lane that can stretch the floor out with his outside shot so you have to respect the three but he can still beat you off that first step and get to the rim.

What sport do you want to play in college?
“I would want to continue my basketball career going into college. “

Have you made any college trips yet?
“Currently, I haven't made any college visits yet.”

What camps are you going to this summer?
“During this summer, we have a lot of team camps at Upper Iowa, UNI, and schools like that.”
