What is keeping you busy with sports as of late?
“With AAU, I’ve had workouts and tournaments. I’ve bene doing some private workouts with a trainer and then high school workouts.”

How did the AAU season go overall?
“I feel I started out rusty. Guys were trying to get used to each other. Everyone started playing well together and everything clicked. We gelled well but it took a little time.”

What are your workout plans now going forward?
“It is a little bit tougher with football going on. I’ll try to get into the gym later at night or in the morning to shoot. I want to keep that going with football is going on.”

How do you believe your team will be this season?
“I think we’ll be pretty good. We have quite a few guys back from last year. Overall I think we have a lot of experience back from last year and a little more than the year before.”

What is the toughest game on your schedule for 2017-2018?
“This year, I’d say maybe I know we are looking forward to the Waverly game. Everyone believes that we have a shot at taking down Waverly now that (Austin) Phyfe has moved on to UNI. Dubuque Wahlert will be pretty strong and I think Waterloo West has a pretty strong roster back too.”

What colleges have been recruiting you?
“Right now, the main schools that are reaching out to me have been Loras and Coe. Other than that, I’ve been trying to scout out schools I am interested in and setup visits. I visited Loras for their elite camp and found it pretty interesting. I could see myself going to school there.”

What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“I’d say Cor and Loras are the top two.”
