What have you been doing as of late with off-season workouts?
“I have been focusing more on strength and speed with a lot of high rep workouts in the weight room five days a week.”
What do you feel you have improved on most since last football season?
“I have improved on my lateral movement being a pulling guard.”
What are you trying to improve on before the football season begins?
“My overall conditioning and speed.”
How do you feel your team will do this football season?
“I think the team will do really good. We came out last season going 7-2 and opening the eyes of not only our competition but the state. Nothing is handed to us, so we are going to work hard and bring the same mentality as we did last year and live by our motto of unfinished business.”
Who do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“Waukon has always been a tough football program being one of the top teams in the state for the last few years.”
Who is your opponent in the season opener and how do you feel about them overall?
“Our first opponent is Iowa Falls-Alden. As being the first game of the year, teams are still a little rusty, so we need to make sure we are well prepared and get the job done.”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“I would love to play football in college.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I have been in contact with several coaches while starting the process.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“I have made one junior day visit to St. Cloud State University.”
Do you have plans for more trips soon?
“Nothing besides camps.”
What camps are you planning to do this summer?
“The camps I am attending as of now are South Dakota, Iowa, Iowa State, Grandview, North Dakota State, and UNI.”

“Growing up, my whole family have been fans of the Iowa Hawkeyes.”
