What are your workout plans now going forward?
“We pretty much have workout three times a week for our high school team. Then I have Attack practice and I’ve also been lifting.”
What are you trying to improve on the most this off-season?
“I’d say my defense and quickness. My experience is one of the things I’ve been focusing on. I want to get quicker and more athletic.”
How do you believe your team will be next season?
“We return our two leading scorers and a couple of other guys. I think we can be better than we were last year.”
What is the toughest game on your schedule for 2017?
“Webster City was pretty good last year. They return most of their starters. St. Eds always finds a way to be good so they’ll be tough to defeat too.”
Why did you decide to commit to Waldorf?
“I took a few visits there and really liked it. I really like coaching and how they play. It seems like a good fit. It is not too far away from home like too.”
What other schools were interested?
“Grand View a little bit. I’d say Morningside is the second most and Concordia in Nebraska sent a few letters.”
What was the hardest part about recruiting?
“It is the hardest to get coaches to come and see when you are playing for a smaller school. The coaches that made the effort to come and see me play I favored.”
