What have you been doing as of late with off-season workouts?
“I have been involved with our school’s out of season lifting program and have been involved with baseball and my AAU basketball team.”
What do you feel you have improved on most since last football season?
“I have gotten stronger physically and been able to put more into the off the field part of the game in order to understand the game much better.”
What are you trying to improve on before the football season begins?
“I am working on improving my IQ for the game and being able to make reads for myself to put the team in a better position to be successful. I am also working to understand more than my role so I can help out the rest of the team and get them where they need to be.”
How do you feel your team will do this football season?
“I think we got some big shoes to fill from last year, but we have more than the potential to do so. We have high expectations for this season from all of our guys.”
Who do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“I believe some of the tough games this year will be Western Dubuque, who was the runner-up, and Xavier, the defending state champions.”
Who is your opponent in the season opener and how do you feel about them overall?
“We kickoff the season against Central Dewitt this year and we expect to get their best. Last year was fairly lopsided, but we expect a battle for the season opener this year.”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“I would like to play sports at the next level, most likely basketball.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I have talked to Coe College, the University of Chicago, and I spoke with a buddy who plays basketball at Grand View. There are also a few other D3/NAIA schools in the area all for basketball.”
What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“I had a phone call with one of the schools, have gotten a few letters, and am just texting to keep in touch with them.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“I have not made any trips to visit any colleges.”
Do you have plans for more trips soon?
“I have no set plans, but I intend on visiting some in the near future.”
What camps are you planning to do this summer?
“There are a few football camps I have looked at but between baseball and basketball during the summer. Finding a day to get that done is not easy.”

“I have always been an Iowa Hawkeye fan.”
