What have you been doing as of late with your workouts?
“I’ve been spending a lot of time in the weight room and slowing improving my pass blocking.”

What have you improved on the most since football wrapped up?
“I would say I have improved on my pass blocking and being able to play with more pressure. Last year we made it to the Dome and I think that helped me as a football player.”

How do you believe your team will be next season?
“I think we’ll do great. I have faith in our offense and defense.”

What is the toughest game on your schedule for 2017?
“The toughest game will probably be Dowling of course but I think we’ll do a lot better this year than we did against them in the Dome.”

How do you feel about your first opponent of the football season in Johnston?
“I thought they had some struggles with kids graduating last year. I don’t know who they’ll have a much about them.”

Do you want to play football in college?
“Yeah, for sure. I’ve been focusing this summer to become a better lineman.”

What colleges have been recruiting you?
“There are some schools in the Missouri Valley. I talked to some coaches at South Dakota State and Northwest emailed me. I have talked to coaches at Grand View. Culver-Stockton said they are going to give me an offer.”

Have you made any college trips yet?
“Minnesota State gave me an invite to do a junior day visit there. I liked the campus a lot. I like that area.”

Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“Growing up, I really liked the Hawkeyes. My family liked them so I grew up liking them.”
