What have you been doing as of late with off-season workouts?
“This off-season I have been doing early morning workouts with my high school 4 days a week as well as working out at Engineered Performance for strength training and rehab for my hamstring from last football season.”
What do you feel you have improved on most since last football season?
“Improvements I have made from last season are my mobility/flexibility throughout my body as well as putting on good mass and weight from last season. I also go and run routes at our field with my quarterback and a couple other receivers on the team during the winter too.”
What are you trying to improve on before the football season begins?
“Ways I'm trying to improve my game is trying to gain good, muscular weight. I also want to become a more vertical, receiving tight end and become a better blocker as well.”
How do you feel your team will do this football season?
“I feel like my team has a lot of returning and talented skill players. I feel like we will be winning lots of games the next couple of years.”
Who do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“The toughest competition this year for us will be Dowling Catholic.”
Who is your opponent in the season opener and how do you feel about them overall?
“Our season opener is our crosstown rival, the Ankeny Centennial Jaguars. I believe that they are a solid team and have a couple really good players, but I think that we will come on top.”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“Sports that I want to play in college are baseball and football. I am verbally committed to the University of Iowa already, but I am still wide open for football offers as well.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“Colleges that have come and talked to me about camps and their college are Iowa, Iowa State, Northern Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas State, North Dakota State, and Central Missouri.”
What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“The coaches that feel like have the most interest in me is Iowa, Iowa State, and North Dakota State.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“No.”
Do you have plans for more trips soon?
“I am planning on it because I still need to take the ACT.”
What camps are you planning to do this summer?
“I am planning on going to the Iowa and Iowa State camps, but I am not sure about Kansas State or Nebraska.”
