Team Strengths:
Post play and depth
Question Marks:
Strength
Overview:
Scott Murley takes over as head coach of Janesville and will be looking to
continue their success after an 18-7 finish last year. Three starters are
gone from the team and it will be necessary that the scoring as well as the
leadership of that group is replaced. But the well of talent is far from
bare. Peter Salmon and West Westmeyer, both seniors, combined to average
over twenty points and pull down fourteen boards per game. Now that they
are a year older, they will need to step up their play but the talent is
definitely there. For a smaller school team, Janesville boasts five
players 6-foot-3 or taller and. If the inexperienced players can step
forward and find a role on this team, don't be surprised to see Janesville make
another run at the conference title.
