Team Strengths:
Size, balance, inside play, and athleticism
Question Marks:
Inexperience in pressure situations
Overview:
Hinton had an exceptional season last winter and will hope that some of that
momentum will carry over into this season. The team said goodbye to their
top three leading scorers and will need to replace over fifty points per game of
scoring. As for the starters returning Nate Freed, Adam Freed, and Eli
Kroll all started at times during the year and played a complimentary role to
the seniors. Now that they are a year older, they must step up and prove
their talent at the varsity level. The Blackhawks will also be young this
year as three sophomore will be getting time. And considering their size
and ability, they are likely to get a chance to play early and often. How
these players and others inexperienced at the varsity level step up will
determine if this team can have another great run.
