Team Strengths:
Experience and leadership
Question Marks:
Adjustment to new coaching philosophy
Overview:
Joe Albertson takes over as head coach at Garner-Hayfield and will be hoping to
get his team over the .500 mark. Three starters are back in the mix as
well as a number of athletes coming off the bench that will help in this quest.
Leading the team both in points per game and rebounding is Ryan Davison.
This talented senior may only be 6-foot tall but he scored 10.6 points per game
and pulled down seven rebounds per contest. Four other players also
averaged five points or more. Talent-wise, this team definitely has the
ability to make a run in conference. The biggest question that they must
answer is how will the coaching change affect the team? If they can answer
that, the Cardinals are ready for a much better season this winter.
