Overview:
With leading scorer and standout athlete Tom Koenen graduated, the Falcons have
some serious holes to fill when it comes to scoring. This standout put up
over twenty points per game and could score a lot of points in a hurry.
One advantage that AP might have this year is that they may have a number of
scoring threats. Instead of just one player for the defense to focus on,
the Falcons may have a variety of players averaging double-digits. This
depends on what kinds of season Jesse Nitcher, Shawn Krusey, and Jim Brouwer can
have. This trio spent most of their time in the starting lineup but they
must combine to average more then the twelve points per game that they put up
last winter. The team may also boast a number of talented sophomores but
the problem is varsity experience. That is something that is hard to
duplicate in high school.
