Team Strengths:

Experience, height, and a good off-season

Question Marks:

Team chemistry

Overview:

With the amount of talent that Urbandale has returning, they could easily
contend for a State title. The team started the season among the
pre-season top ten by IowaPreps.com and it is obvious they are going to be good.
Four starters come back off of a team that finished 15-7 overall. Three
players averaged double digits and that balance alone will be tough for teams to
match up with. Ethan Freeman led the team in scoring as a sophomore and
will be a three-year starter. At 6-foot-4, this standout has the ability
to score inside and outside. Also keep an eye on Nevin Conlon and Jake
Jacobs. Conlon is a talented guard who can knock down the outside show
while Jacobs nearly averaged a double-double last winter. If others can
step up and understand their roles, this team may have what it takes to fight
for a CIML conference title and maybe more.
