How did the high school football season go overall?
“It went very well and I was very impressed with how we did. I think we definitely could’ve won it all but that’s just one more reason to go as hard as we can this year.”
What are your plans now with sports and workouts?
“For now, it’s working out every single day and training for football at least three times a week with Ryan Smith and his program. I am also doing track workouts to work on speed.”
How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“I expect us to do very well and we have a very good chance at winning it all.”
What team do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“Our toughest competition will be Sigourney or Nevada.”
Who is the toughest individual player your team will face off against?
“I think the only names I really focused on or noticed last year were seniors who will be gone so I am not sure.”

How did the high school football season go overall?
“Went pretty good. We made it to the quarterfinal round which is farther than anyone would’ve thought since we’re such a young team.”
What are your plans now with sports and workouts?
“We have a non-winter sports lift with a bunch of guys and we lift 3-4 times a week with speed stuff on days we don’t lift.”
How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“I feel like our team next year is going to be really good and really tough to beat. Our goal is obviously to win the state ship.”
What team do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“Western will definitely be our toughest opponent next year. OABCIG and Unity will be tough as well.”
Who is the toughest individual player your team will face off against?
“Kaden Van Regenmorter from Western always has a good game against us and Jaxx DeJean and Dylan Bosma are both solid players.”

How did the high school football season go overall?
“The season went pretty good. I ended up finding a new position at quarterback half way through the season and towards the end of the season the offense started firing on all cylinders.”
What are your plans now with sports and workouts?
“This offseason I’ve been working out 2-3 times a day consisting of lifting, throwing, and doing track workouts.”
How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“I think next season is going to be a breakout season for us last year we dealt with a lot of injuries and had a lot of young guys playing without much experience so expectations are high for next season.”
What team do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“The toughest team we’re going to play next year is Waukee NW, they’re a pretty physical team and find ways to make you pay for any mistakes.”
Who is the toughest individual player your team will face off against?
“The toughest player we’ll face is probably Zay Robinson.”

How did the high school football season go overall?
“Our high school football season went good overall, we finished 8-3 but lost in the 2a quarterfinals. Our main goal was to win the state championship.”
What are your plans now with sports and workouts?
“My plans now are to play school basketball and to run track. My workouts consist of lifting every morning before school and working on speed and agility after school. While lifting I focus more on powerful movements with all different types of cleans but still making room for full body training. For speed and agility my main workouts consist of quickness in the feet and hips and doing plyometrics.”
How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“Next football season we are planning to go undefeated, and win the state championship but it will be very challenging because the teams we play are really good and have a lot of talented hard-working players with the same goals as us.”
What team do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“I feel like our toughest competition for next year will be a non-district game against the Nevada cubs; with junior quarterback Connor King returning after throwing for 1500 yards with 20 tds and 6 picks he will be a great player we play against. Junior linebacker Jackson Burlage will also return and he had 100.5 total tackles leading their defense. It will be a really fun game to play.”

How did the high school football season go overall?
“Overall we improved a ton throughout the year, starting the year off slow but then winning 3 out of our last 4 games. We lost in the first round of the playoffs to West Hancock, but gave them a good game.”
What are your plans now with sports and workouts?
“I’ve been focusing on getting stronger/putting on weight while also getting more explosive, and I’ve already added about 15 pounds this off-season. I’ve been lifting a ton to get ready for track, and I’m ready for a big track season.”
How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“I think with our teams returning talent we will have a great season. We have high expectations and are aiming to win the district and make it to the Dome.”
What team do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“I think Woodbury Central will be our toughest game because they always are a really deep team and have had a few great seasons recently.”
Who is the toughest individual player your team will face off against?
“Gavin Sleezer from Alta Aurelia is probably the best player we’ll see next year. He hits hard and is very athletic.”
