Point guard play
Overview:
With four starters back from a 19-5 team, Fort Dodge St. Edmond has what it
takes to return to the State tournament. The scary thing is that the
player with the most potential on their team didn't even start last year but
returns as a sophomore. The team brings back their top two leading scorers
in Josh Bradley and Sam Condon. Both are now finally seniors and averaged
over thirty points between the two. Also don't forget about the other two
starters, Mitch Knippel and Justin Madsen. The player I spoke of early
coming off the bench is Andy Nagel. This super sophomore has a lot of work
to do before college but already boasts a scholarship offer from Iowa State and
interest from programs across the country. At 6-foot-8, 240 pounds, Nagel
moves extremely well for his age and is getting better by the day. He had
a big fall and that momentum should propel him into a great year.
