Team Strengths:
Experience, depth, and rebounding
Question Marks:
The point guard position
Overview:
Carlisle just could not get over the hump last season as they finished both
overall and conference play with a .500 record, 11-11 and 9-9. The
Wildcats must find a way to replace graduated
Drew Laidig. This standout athlete was a
three year starter at point guard for the team and that position is currently
the biggest question mark hanging over this team for the new year.
Carlisle does bring back their leading rebounder and scorer last season in
Nathan Parker. This senior had an outstanding year and will only be
getting better after a summer of workouts. With his fourteen points and
seven rebounds per game last year, he obviously was a difficult player to
matchup with. Other starters also returning include Mike Berg and Jordan
Flaws, both seniors. If these three can step up their games and the bench
can stay productive, the Wildcats could finally make a push over the .500 mark.
