Ok Aubs

The People’s National Champion was awarded after AU’s perfect season 13-0 but the school typically buys the players the rings.
Well Georgia Tech got some nice rings for finishing the season 7-6 and going undefeated at home. Just saying

Did they fire up the John Deere tractors and load up some hay on the trailers for a “parade?” That’s how Auburn celebrated their 2004 “PNC” 🤣🤣🤣

My favorite thing about the PNC is it was online voting, and USC pulled way ahead of AU. Then that guy retroactively closed the polling on it back to when AU was ahead 😆
It was so fvcking dumb. However, anyone who thinks AU didn't deserve to play USC for the NC that year deserves to have their seed removed from the gene pool. Further, I have no doubt that AU drills USC for the NC that year.

Forget about the “what if” bullschit. Look at the facts.
SC was stripped of their ill-gotten NC and had to vacate several wins on their schedule.
Therefore Auburn was the only undefeated top 5 team in the nation that year. Add to that the hardest schedule of any top team in the nation and champions of the toughest conference and it’s a no-brainer who the NC in 2004.

SOS in 2004

USC - 7
OU - 13
Auburn - 60
Utah - 67
