This post had me thinking...in my experience it can go either way. At first I was thinking no way but sometimes, absolutely, they will just start telling you crap and it's unbelievable.

Other times they'll say that the pants that they are wearing don't belong to them when you find meth in their pockets. 😂

Fort Pierce wasn’t so bad. Once you get south of Melbourne, the Atlantic coast isn’t so bad… you thinking of Fort Meade? Now that is a town straight out of Cops…

I was thinking of Fort Meade. Fort Pierce was actually a decent drive for us. We use to hangout near Sebastian Inlet and Indian River.

Yeh a large majority of Polk County is not great. Used to have to go down to Frostproof a couple times a year, as it is where Lowe’s Florida distribution center was. Thankfully I was living in Winter Park at the time and could make it a day trip. We were the asphalt division of Quikrete, so I frequented their plant in Lakeland. Lakeland was ok, but it wouldn’t break my heart if I never had to get out of the truck in Polk County ever again. I covered AL, GA, and FL and Polk County was by far my least favorite place to visit, even if it meant I could commute from the house…

Polk County is where I lived, Lakeland specifically. South Lakeland isn't too bad. The rest is spotty at best and most of Polk County in general.

Eventually they somehow sealed the sink hole and slowly it became a lake again.
