I will try to keep up with this. I have a lot of free time at night currently, but I am stepping into the world of coaching and refereeing in basketball this fall which starts next week.

Making a TWIST to the game as well. 1 game will be selected from other classes as well for each round.

No WB, Regina, SW, etc.

I bet you add them back in for Rd 2, etc. So why not for Rd 1?

You've had them in all year. So why not now?

I do not follow any class but 1A, so the other 5 games mean nothing to me.

Central Decatur, Leon @ Regina, Iowa City ----- Good Season Central Decatur, but you lost to Panora by 30 and Regina just beat them by 50+ at halftime...

Dike-New Hartford @ South Winneshiek, Calmar ----- If this game was in warm weather or in the Dome I would take DNH for passing abilities... However, I don't think DNH can beat SW in the trenches

IKM-Manning @ West Lyon, Inwood ----- Easily my least confident choice, but looking over the comparable opponents. IKM-M is better defensively and West Lyon is better offensively and I think WL offense will be just enough.

South Central Calhoun @ St. Edmond, Fort Dodge ----- Rematch from earlier in the year and I think it will be roughly the same result.

The regulars stay sharp, yet remain well rested and uninjured. The young reserves gain valuable experience executing the flawless game plan under playoff game conditions, ensuring continued dominance far into the foreseeable future. BC Moore drops Regina to 2nd in the rankings.

Dike-New Hartford @ South Winneshiek, Calmar - Two multi-dimensional offenses, who would both prefer to win by being one dimensional, are forced into being multi dimensional by the superior athletes both teams field on defense. The fickle November Iowa weather, however, makes it difficult to be multi-dimensional, frustrating athletes, coaches, and fans. The frustration manifests itself in the form of piling on, late hits, ankle twisting and over-involved mothers audibly threatening players (with assistant coaches supplying said mothers with the numbers of the offending players). DNH wins on a last second TD pass, with flagrant offensive pass interference ignored by the officials. The officials are acting on orders from Boone, who determine that Dike-New Hartford would draw more fans to the Dome, ensuring greater profit for IAHSAA. State officials inadvertantly show latent disdain for kids by dropping South Winneshiek's money-saving balsa wood trophy in the mud.

IKM-Manning @ West Lyon, Inwood - Winner of this game has to travel all the way to Cedar Falls to play the next game. Boys from Boone refuse to consider a neutral site. It's all about the kids - right.

South Central Calhoun @ St. Edmond, Fort Dodge - Because BC Moore says they will win, and because I like one dimensional offenses and 3 deep zones.
