Indianola Coach Resigns

Coach Matt Young resigned this morning as head coach of Indianola.

Did he take another coaching position somewhere else or is he getting out of the coaching business?

My understanding is Matt will continue teaching high school science and coach middle school football. He has 2 younger children that are at the age where a full time father is extremely important. Matt's work ethic and commitment level are off the scale. I'm sure it was difficult for him to step away, but he and wife Jaime are committed to being mom and dad. How refreshing!

Matt is not only a great coach, he's a class human being. Fact is, many coaches and parents would do well to follow his lead. The Gunny.
