These Pella players are really, really good at making the first (and sometimes second and third) guy miss on tackles. Lots of yards after contact, lots of plays that should be losses or short gains turning into big positives.
WD moves quickly down the field into the red zone. Pella holds, forces an incomplete pass on 4th down. This one is just about over with 4 1/2 minutes left.
Actually a pretty good game Pella the better clearly but if West Delaware doesn't give up a few big plays it's probably a 7-10 point game. Clayberg and Roussell were both studs
Very good game but Pella showed why they really are the class of the field. Clayburg is the best player in 3A. Tough kid and fortunate for Pella for the most part he has been injury free for his career. Without him and the same goes for almost any other team. You take away a player of his ability they are not the same team. Congrats to both Pella and Norwalk on the wins. This shows how tough the LHC is.
I think I saw something very unique watching the game but its always possible that I dreamt it. Does Pellas kicker kick off left footed but kick xps with his right? I'm pretty sure it was the same kid.
